Is there any room for us left on the blogging bandwagon? We surely hope so, because, from time to time, we have things that we’d love to share. Sometimes it will be informational, sometimes it will feature new merchandise or events that we have going on.

Sometimes, we hope you think it will be hysterically funny and witty.

Original Artwork

There is nothing quite as personal for the home as original artwork.

Anne Hayes is a well known and widely collected local watercolorist whose attention to detail is nearly photographic. Fruit and intricately patterned fabric are often the subject of her acclaimed paintings, and we get excited every time one comes in the door.

Lucy

If you’ve ever been to our store in Hilton Village you know that there is something about our shop that stands out from most businesses you walk into nowadays. It’s about 85 pounds and you have probably stepped over it.

Lucy, our almost 14 year old yellow Labrador Retriever, is a fixture in our day to day lives here at the store.  Those of us gals who work here are used to stepping over her, blockading her away from the desk during lunch, and giving in to her nearly constant begging for treats.
